A photographer’s website is not only a portfolio of their work. It’s also a powerful tool for their marketing strategy. For Tony Potts, we set out to create both: an immersive showcase for his photography and a seamless destination for visitors to discover, purchase and engage with his work.
When fine art photographer Tony Potts first approached Brilliant Logic, he needed a clean, contemporary portfolio site that showcased his body of work. Our team designed a platform that reflected his artistic style while giving visitors an intuitive way to explore his pieces.
As Tony’s strategy evolved, expanding to include print sales and bookings for commercial, fashion, and portrait shoots, the website needed to grow with him. Brilliant Logic collaborated closely with Tony to refresh the site, transforming it into a dynamic showcase of his major works and a seamless hub for art lovers to browse and purchase Available Edition prints by category.
Originally, the homepage featured a single hero image alongside a brief bio and headshot. After understanding Tony’s desire for a more visual, immersive experience, we introduced scrolling hero images, a featured in situ artwork, and four thumbnail categories linking directly to the Available Editions store.
We redesigned the user journey to guide visitors naturally from discovery to purchase making it easier to explore collections, view individual artworks in multiple formats (image only, in situ, and framed), select size and edition, and complete a secure checkout.
Additional enhancements included improved page load speeds, an optimised mobile experience, and a simplified checkout process.
Tony now has a digital platform that not only honours his artistic journey but actively supports the commercial side of his business. The refreshed site is visually compelling, easy to use, and built to grow with him.
